Yesterday I got my haircut and eyelash extensions at The Foxy Lady on Oak Bay Ave. I cut my hair pretty short because my ends were so damaged from the ombre and I was really inspired by the recent wave of celebrities like Lauren Conrad who chopped all of their hair off. It feels really weird having short thinned out hair but at least I can grow it out now without having the damaged ends. This was my first time getting eyelash extensions and I must say that it is quite the process. I had to lay there with my eyes closed for 2.5 hours while she attached each individual lash. I didn’t realize how high maintenance these lashes would be, I have to constantly comb them with a lash brush and get them filled every 3 weeks. It is quite the commitment and I am not sure if I will continue to get them filled. I saw at the Sephora that they have a Too Faced mascara called Better Than False Lashes Nylon Lash Extension System. I think I will try this mascara once all of my false lashes fall out.

Yikes. I bet they look gorgeous though. I’ve tried the Too Faced fiber lashes and the fibers kept falling into my eyes and it was rather painful… so just be careful!

I barely keep up with consistently getting my eyebrows threaded and that takes 10 minutes! lol. I never heard of the Too Faced eyelash extension, but I’m headed over to that link to check it out now.
